About the Topic

Inspired by Maarten Dalmijn’s LinkedIn series about what Scrum teams would say to their Product Owner and Scrum Master if they could, our November meeting is a facilitated discussion of what those of us with a software quality focus would like to say to their own Product Owners and Scrum Masters.  This is a great opportunity to vent about the problems challenging us and learn from each other about how our teams might have solved problems others may have.  Please come ready to share!

  • What communications challenges do you have?
  • Is your team self-organizing or told what to do and how to do it?
  • Are you work-driven or outcome-driven?
  • Can you handle the “right” amount of change in scope or priority?

About the Moderator

Paul Herzog is the Vice President of the Chicago Quality Assurance Association.  Paul has more than 30 years in the software industry in various testing, product and project management and leadership roles.  He is uniquely qualified to negotiate dissenting opinions with project teams not only from professional experience, but also as a USSF-certified soccer referee.
