There are only a hand full of people at the ‘sharp end’ of business that provide excellent quality service in spite of a large, confused and hindering infrastructure that has been setup to support service delivery. Today the marketplace is flooded with tools that address very specific parts of the Application Quality management lifecycle-- many of which have been around (in one form or another) for the best part of twenty years. As a result they are inflexible and, quite frankly, inapplicable for today’s way of work. Other more recent innovations, i.e. open-source, on the surface appear shiny and new. However, once we get past the shiny wrapper, they tend emulate their significantly older relatives. About the Speakers

Tim Bower, Solutions Architect, Original Software, Inc.

With a career spanning 27 years in the Information Technology industry, Mr. Bower served in the British Royal Air Force and then began his IT career as a junior developer in a software house. Following this, his career has been immersed in work as a developer, tester and business systems analyst.

More recently, Tim’s passion has been with software quality and the testing industry as a whole bringing Original Software’s products to market with the role of Solutions Architect.

He is a respected industry specialist having spoken at technical and business seminars and presented at several industry events.
